- Every claim about a law, standard, price or statistic links to its source, and the page carries a last-reviewed date.
- Retailer requirements are published only where the retailer's own document can be read and linked; we quote briefly and record the version we read.
- Figures come from public datasets or from your inputs. We never invent prices, quotes, reviews or statistics, and we don't list companies.
- Calculations show their method.
- Trade terms that have no single definition (pallet grades, for example) are flagged as such.
§2Reviews and corrections
Data pages are rebuilt at every monthly refresh, and written pages are re-checked against their sources at least quarterly. Retailer pages are re-read against the retailer's current document each quarter, because those documents change without notice. When a page changes, its last-reviewed date changes with it.
§3Who writes it
Pages are written and reviewed by the site's editorial desk. Data pages are generated from the datasets described in the methodology; written commentary on the monthly index reports is added by an editor when available.
