Pallet buyback

A program in which a supplier collects your used pallets and credits you for reusable ones.

Last reviewed October 27, 2026. How we check facts

Buyback turns pallets that would cost you disposal fees into a credit. Credits usually vary by grade; broken pallets earn nothing or carry a charge.

In a one-way cost-per-trip comparison, the buyback credit is subtracted: cost per trip = price + disposal − credit.
